yes but its one of the hardest nations to play because they nearly always end up as the battleground between sweden and denmark.

I don't recommend Ottomans because you'll be at war with some big ass country

Ottomans is pretty easy due to the empire size and their military capabilities. Poland may not be a good choice since at the beginning of the game they are in personal union with Lithuania and I don't remember (neither from history nor from game) which nation is pulling the strings.

Getting out of a personal union is easy, just insult them and break the alliance and wait until the king die.

Poland is in control the hard part is that they start in the middle of loosing a war with the golden horde.

But they'll eventually get into the war with the Golden horde, but if you're capable of playing the game you should be able to make it without too much effort me thinks.

I have divine wind and am playing a game with the 95th rifles as Poland. Im pretty sure i know that without the help of Novgorod (to keep my rebels at bay) I would have had major problems as the golden horde brings around 40000+ troops at a time you have less than 20K and they produce them at twice your rate due to having so much land. if you read the online guide it even states that your main tast will be to stop the golden horde ripping apart Lithuania.
